At each grade level, the level of competition and aggressive play increases. This requires more practice time and a greater commitment to attendance at practice than in the Micro-mini programs. The student athletes need to learn plays and get accustomed to playing as a team unit. In addition to the increased competition, the rules for the games become more strict and complicated.

In light of this, the Athletic Board recognizes the need for attendance at practices and reminds the parents that practice time is vital to the development and success of the players and teams.

All OLOH children are welcomed to be part of a team and participate in all team activities, with the understanding that practice is the cornerstone of the OLOH Program. We ask that parents make every effort to maximize attendance at practice and reach out to the coaching staff for any issues/situations that would prohibit the players from regular attendance.
